With measles cases on the rise in Ontario, there’s a growing need for a reliable process for recording health information.


Canada is contending with a major measles outbreak — and Ontario is at the epicentre.

There were 656 new cases reported in the province in the of 2025 alone — accounting for a staggering 90 per cent of the country’s total new cases this year — and that number increased by more than 250 in the first two weeks of April.
