North Face women’s boots recalled across North America after several injuries
The recall affects some Women’s Shellista V Mid Waterproof Boots since the boots’ lace hooks can latch together. Four injuries have been reported in Canada, 15 in the U.S.
The North Face company has recalled thousands of women’s boots because of a lacing problem that has caused several injuries, Health Canada said Thursday
Sizes five through 11 of the Women’s Shellista V Mid Waterproof Boots are being pulled from shelves after the company discovered that the hook of a boot can latch onto the lace of the other boot and cause the wearer to fall,
The latching issues are responsible for four reported injuries in Canada and 15 in the United States, all of them minor, the agency said.Â
