Two of the suspects pulled out hammers and demanded the store safe be opened, smashing several glass display cases and taking cameras before fleeing in the stolen vehicle, police said.
Police watched as the stolen vehicle hit two other vehicles near Progress and William Kitchen roads, investigators said, adding two of the suspects were arrested after a “short foot pursuit.”
The third suspect fled the area in the stolen vehicle, officers said, and it was later recovered nearby.
The two boys, both from Toronto, are each charged with robbery with an offensive weapon, disguise with intent and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
They were scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday morning.
