‘Nobody deserves something like that’: Man dead after daylight shooting at Mississauga plaza

A man in his 40s was found shot multiple times near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way. Peel police called it an “isolated” incident.

A man in his 40s was shot multiple times and was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition and died, paramedics said.


Balkar Khakh was only a few hours into his work day when the shots rang out.

Khakh, the manager of G&G Trucking Solutions in Mississauga, rushed out of his office and towards the gunfire. The search for the source of the shots was short-lived; in the parking lot, a man lay fatally wounded beside a black pick-up truck. Around him, casings littered the pavement.
