A man from Quebec is facing 115 charges following a series of “violent” crimes in recent months, including the theft of stolen “police-issued equipment,” multiple police pursuits and two separate stabbings, pc28¹ÙÍøpolice said.Â
Police arrested the 34-year-old man on Friday for allegedly breaking the back window of a parked, civilian car, as well as allegedly stealing police-issued equipment from a vehicle on Wednesday. The alleged theft occurred near around 4 a.m. Friday, and officers confirmed the stolen equipment wasn’t a gun, police badge or anything containing confidential data.
Upon further investigation, officers identified the man as a suspect in a series of thefts from vehicles and other incidents across the Greater pc28¹ÙÍøArea over the last few months.Â

Police executed a search warrant at a home near on Friday and found several stolen items and IDs that belonged to victims of thefts from vehicles.
Investigators further allege the man used different aliases to try to evade police and failed to stop for police in multiple incidents, leading to multiple vehicle pursuits.Â
Police also allege the man was involved in two stabbings this year. On Jan. 25, a 41-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were stabbed near with one of them suffering life-threatening-injuries.Â
In total, the suspect is facing 115 criminal charges in pc28¹ÙÍøand an additional 28 in regions across the GTA and in Quebec.
Police believe there may be more victims and have released a photo of the suspect. He is scheduled to appear in court at the pc28¹ÙÍøRegional Bail Centre on May 6 at 10 a.m.
