A 14-year old girl has been arrested after allegedly setting off fireworks inside a TTC bus travelling northbound at full capacity in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon.
In a video posted on 6ixBuzz Tuesday evening appears to show a person lighting blue fireworks, which subsequently explodes.
Screams and yelling can be heard on the bus, and passengers can be seen ducking. pc28police said the bus was travelling on the Kingston Road and Guildwood Parkway area when teenager deliberatively set off the pyrotechnics at 3:56 p.m.

In a tweet early Wednesday, the TTC said that they are “aware of a couple of recent incidents of fireworks being set off on TTC buses in Scarborough.”
“(The incidents are) being looked into and those responsible will be held accountable. Fortunately there were no serious injuries and there’s plenty of video available to assist investigators,” reads the tweet.
pc28police said they are aware of the video. The teenager was charged with mischief endangering life, she is due to appear in court on July 14.
The incident is part of a string of events where firework have been detonated on the transport system. On Wednesday afternoon the TTC said no injuries were reported after fireworks were set off on two more vehicles, bringing the toll of incidents to seven in nine days.
“These are illegal acts and we have video,” the TTC . “All will be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
