DUNEDIN, Fla.—Where is the line between confident and cocky? One might also throw callow in there.

This was Addison Barger, Toronto’s No. 6 prospect, speaking Wednesday about what he hopes he has shown Blue Jays management over the past month-plus at spring training: “I know what I’m capable of doing. I don’t need to show anything more. I don’t need to prove anything to anybody.”
