A sensory board designed for young children is being recalled over concerns parts of the toy could pose an ingestion hazard if broken.
Health Canada published the for the product “Rollers Tile for PlayTab Modular Activity Board” which is sold by Fat Brain Toy Co.
The tile sold with the activity could break, allowing a powerful magnet inside to detach, the agency said.Â

If multiple magnets are swallowed in a short period of time, the magnets can become attached while moving through the intestines, causing twists, blockages or tearing of the intestinal walls, Health Canada added.
There have been no incidents or injuries reported in Canada, the recall notice added.
More than 380 units were sold in the country between July 2024 and November 2024, Health Canada said.
The roller tile was sold individually or in a set of three as the “PlayTab Sensory Set 3.” The toy in question has a blue, red, and green roller attached to it and can be identified by the model numbers FA488-17 or FA488-5.
Consumers are asked to “immediately” stop using the affected product and contact the company for information on disposal and getting a replacement.
