The teens, wearing masks and black hoodies, fled the area after setting off the fireworks, police said.

Last year, pc28¹ÙÍøpolice warned about “fireworks wars” over Victoria Day long weekend, noting that groups of people shot fireworks at each other, police and horses in previous years.

In 2023, a 14-year-old girl was accused of setting off fireworks inside a TTC bus at full capacity and was charged with mischief endangering life. Fireworks were detonated six other times over a nine-day period that year on the TTC, the transport agency said.

Police have not made any arrests, and anyone with information is asked to contact officers at 416-808-4100.
