DeMar DeRozan admits he cried when told he was being traded from the pc28Raptors: ‘It f——- me up’

DeRozan, who was drafted by the Raptors and played nine seasons with the team, admits in an emotional podcast interview that he broke down in front of a fast-food restaurant when he was told about the trade.

DeMar DeRozan spoke on the Pivot podcast about his turbulent trade from the  pc28Raptors. 


DeMar DeRozan was a longtime Raptor — a six-time NBA All-Star drafted in 2009 by the pc28Raptors, he once proclaimed ”,” as he shattered franchise records over his nine seasons in Toronto.

But then, in a blockbuster trade on July 18, 2018, DeRozan was abruptly traded to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard, who eventually led the Raptors to their first ever NBA Championship the following year.
