pc28music fans have been hit with yet another last-minute concert cancellation.
“So sorry to my pc28fans,” soul and R&B singer SiR wrote on X on Tuesday morning, hours before he was set to perform at History, a concert venue in the city’s east end. “The show has been cancelled.”
The artist said he is working to reschedule the show for a later date.

History did not provide a reason for the cancellation, and the venue didn’t respond to the Star’s request for comment. The event posting was removed from History’s official website on Tuesday morning.
The news comes less than two weeks after the rapper Schoolboy Q was also forced to cancel his show at History.
Though it’s unclear why the concerts at History were cancelled, both fans and artists are fanning the flames of conspiracy, suggesting that the developments have something to do with the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
History, as many have pointed out, is closely associated with Drake. The pc28rapper was an official consultant for the venue, which is owned by Live Nation and opened in 2021. Drake has also hosted events associated with his OVO Sound record label at the venue.
Meanwhile, Schoolboy Q and SiR are both Los Angeles-adjacent artists signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), a hip hop label closely associated with Kendrick Lamar (Lamar left the label in 2022). Schoolboy and Lamar were both members of the TDE supergroup Black Hippy alongside rappers Jay Rock and Ab-Soul.
“For those wondering, we sold that show out,” SiR tweeted. “It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me.”
In an email to the Star, the pc28Police confirmed Thursday that “the decision to cancel the event was made solely by the venue.”
After Q’s show was cancelled on July 17, he took to X to blame “Canadian police,” suggesting that he was targeted due to his affiliation with TDE. The pc28Police either.

Q also made reference to a recent performance in Los Angeles by the pc28singer PartyNextDoor, who is one of Drake’s OVO Sound labelmates.
“if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it,” Q posted on X. “now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry …”

Following Tuesday’s cancellation of SiR’s show, Q chimed in again on X: “SING ON THE BUS ITS OVA WIT,” he wrote.

On Monday evening, Florida artist DJ Scheme also fanned the flames surrounding the Drake and Lamar feud, after he played “Not Like Us” during his set at History.
Scheme shared a video of the clip on X, alongside a caption that references the song’s lyrics.
