Downtown streets and 20 TTC streetcar and bus routes will be disruptedÌýby the ÌýrunÌýthis weekend.
The 25th annual running and walking event will take over city roads on Sunday. The race route begins at Ìýwith the first wave of runners starting at 7:30 a.m.
About 370,000 participantsÌýare expected on the course that will head south mostly onÌýYonge Street before travelling west on Lake ShoreÌýBoulevard and finish near .
Since the event runs from midtown into the downtown core and along Lake Ontario, related road closures will disrupt 20 transit routes throughout the day. Transit users are encouraged to for more information on route changes and are advised to plan their trips around the affected areas.
Yonge Street between Lawrence and Wellington avenues, Wellington Avenue between Yonge and Bay streets, Bay Street between Wellington Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard and Lake Shore Boulevard between Bay Street and British Columbia Road will all be closed at different times on Sunday.ÌýAll entrances off of Lake Shore Boulevard will also be closed.
The closures will be enforced and lifted gradually as runners progress along the race route, according to .Ìý

Construction-related TTC changesÌý
Beginning Friday at 9 p.m., the 40/340 Junction-Dundas West bus routes will use Annette Street between High Park Avenue and Keele Street to accommodate a crane lift on Dundas Street. The diversion will run until 8 a.m. on Sunday.
The 506/306 Carlton streetcars will be replaced by buses between Main Street Station and Gerrard Street and Coxwell Avenue starting at 11 p.m. on Friday and lasting until 4 a.m. on Monday because of track work.
The 106 Sentinel Road route will divert onto Keele Street between Grandravine Drive and Sheppard Avenue until 7 a.m. on May 26 to avoid construction on Sentinel Road.
